2014-15 Mariinsky schedule

Jump to last reply

For context, I'm gearing up for a trip to St. Petersburg in autumn, and I may be returning later in the spring. I'm interested in seeing the Mariinsky perform and had some questions about their schedule.

I noticed that the company has a lot of 2014-15 dates posted on their web site (here: http://www.mariinsky.ru/en/playbill/nextplaybill/?next_playbill_month=show). However, I heard through another forum that the schedule currently available online is a "skeleton" schedule that will be added to, particularly for the months that are further in the future. Does anyone here know anything about that? If so, do you know anything about when updates are usually made and whether the schedule is every truly final?

Lastly, I see that the first performance posted is for Sept. 27. Is it foolish to hope that they'll add any performances earlier in September?

thank you!
Sasha
