The government agency responsible for the licensing all coastal ferries in Croatia has the full 2012 schedule on www.agencija-zolpp.hr
This is an excellent website, as ferry companies are notorious for posting poor information and not answering Emails. Unfortunately, fares can only be obtained from individual companies.
On the website, a speedboat service means a catamaran, for example, www.lnp.hr has a service between Pula and Zadar which stops at a few islands, takes 5 hours, and costs only €13 (cheaper than the bus)
Happy planning!

Is there an English language version of that site?
If need the English version, I type the address in the search box and use the translate option instead of clicking on the link here.
There is another good site as well, www.adrialines.com
