Not too many threads about Cyprus, but I hope that someone can help?
Just a general question - what shouldn't we miss on our visit, and what would be of particular interest to a child who loves history and exploring?
Anybody out there with ideas, please?

AR - your title does not mention Cyprus so it is likely most people who have knowledge of the Island will not see your question. I would probably start a new thread with a title something like "Suggestions for family (inc. 6 yo child) visit to Cyprus?"
OTOH, I spotted it... Paphos is the area I know best and I would have thought that the mosaics, St John's pillar, the harbour, and some of the Templar castles would be the thing.
The mountains are well worth a day trip or two- but not for the history especially.
Aphrodite's Rock, of course. Yeroskipou for the delight.
Nicosia is wonderful for a tour on foot in the old quarter.
When and where are you going and staying?
Thanks. This message was posted by my wife - hence the title!! Sorry.
We are actually staying in Paphos, so I assume we have made the right choice.
Can rental cars be taken to the North?
