2 weeks in Paris, Italy and Spain

Jump to last reply

We're 3 friends (could be another 3 friends joining us) all in mid 20's, at the moment planning for a quick 2 weeks, budget getaway from Feb 19 - March 6, 2012. Our starting and end point will be in Paris-Orly. There are two events that we don't want to miss; Venice Carnival (Feb 20-21) and a conference at Barcelona (Feb 26-29).

Here's a summary of what's planned so far. (*) is still pending on planning.

19 - Paris (Booked triple room at Plug-Inn Hostel for 96 eu per night)
20-21 - Venice (Booked triple at Casanova Villa, Lido for 115 eu per night)
22- 25 - Southern Italy: Sorrento, Amalfi, Pocetano, Ravello, Pompeii (*)
26-29 - Barcelona, Spain (Booked triple at Casa Gracia, Barcelona for 75 eu per night)
1-4 - Granada, Seville and Cordoba (*)
5-6 - Paris (*)

I'm currently having tough time finding cheaper and faster way to commute from Naples to Barcelona. So far I only found a flight from Vueling that costs a whopping 100 E one way. Any other suggestions on transportation method? We don't mind if it takes half a day to travel, but would be awesome if its a one time journey and costs us less than 100 euro or half that price. I've tried asking our host in Barcelona, and they suggest us to travel to Milan to get a train to Barcelona, which will basically take us another extra 5 hours to commute from Naples to Milan.

Last but not least, our final destination. We have remaining of 5 nights after Barcelona and we are not sure whether to travel down to southern Spain (around the Andalusian trio) or just settle up to Paris for this.
