Hi All,
Me and my partner (26yrs each) are planning a honeymoon trip to Europe in December roughly from the 5th to the 20th.
It is our first time to Europe and wish to visit Italy (Rome and Venice), France(Paris) and London as we have family there.
Could you please suggest places we could goto and things to do during that time of the year and how many days would we need in each of these cities?
Thanks!!

Hi, Amar welcome to Fodors. You've decided to come to Europe when the days are short, the weather is cold or cold and wet and when people are generally preparing for Christmas so shops are packed.
Given all of that you are not planning to be here during Christmas so at leaast that is avoided.
I'd start by surfing each of the cities on this website to see what other people like to do, then chat with your partner and discuss what you like to do. Museums, art, theatre, opera, shops etc. Give us this idea and we cna make some suggestions.
In Paris, certainly visit some of the Christmas markets that will surely be operating. One plus about visiting that time of year is few lines, if any, at the major sites (at least in Paris).
Everyone has their favorites, but in Paris, visit Ste Chappelle, climb the owners of Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay is my favorite museum (great for a rainy day), take a look at the amazing store windows at Printemps and Galleries Lafayette. I also love L'Orangerie, Opera Garnier, Sacre Coeur and Musee Rodin. Another favorite, is St Denis, the burial place of French Kings. it's a long ride on the Metro but worth it. it will get dark early so a cruise on the Seine at night to see all the monuments (lit up), would be good.
Dress warmly and bring a travel umbrella, but enjoy! Paris is lovely anytime of year. I haven't been to London and Venice recently, so would not be that helpful to you.
I can only speak for the London part of your trip and there are of course a whole variety of winter attractions.
Hyde Park has the Winter Wonderland which contains markets, food and drink stalls, rides and a whole host of things in keeping with the season.
Somerset House will have it's grounds iced over for visitors to rent ice skates with great views of the Thames.
Places to visit would be The Tower of London (what London grew from), the British Museum, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral. Sample some of the quirkier pubs such as The George Inn (near London Bridge station and one of the oldest in it's original form)or The Grenadier (on Wilton Row, Knightsbridge)where you might get served a different sort of spirit as it is famously haunted.
There are a number of walking tours that run all year round, so if you're interested in the history of the city these are a good way to pick up interesting information. But wrap up warm.
