2 for 1 sale and train travel sale London to Edinburgh

I have received this notice from East Coast Trains:
Why wait until January to pick up a bargain in the sales? The East Coast seat sale is now on, with 125,000 cut-price seats available for journeys between Edinburgh and London and back again. All you need to do is book by midnight 18 December 2012 for East Coast train travel between 7 January and 1 March 2013, excluding 15-24 February.
