2 for 1 Hop-on. Hop-Off Buses?
Can the 2for1 pass be used for either of the Hop-On, Hop-Off Buses?
Unsure if we want to do it at all, but 2for1 may persuade us.
I find the daysout site consfusing to navigate.

Nope they usually aren't included and to be honest I don't recommend it - the buses get caught up in traffic, it's busy and hard to get a good seat, and it's hard to hear the commentary. You can see just as much on your own for WAY cheaper!

Use your own guidebook and the regular buses using the bus map at

We just returned from London and did our own tour using the regular buses. With our seven day travelcard, we could get on and off as much as we wanted. We designed a route that basically circled central London. On most of the buses we were able to get the front seats up top which was like floating along above the streets. It was great.

I recommend the HOHO busses as a first day (passive) activity while you are rebuilding your energy after a long flight. You get to the sights, someone tells you what you are looking at and you get a good overview of what you want to go back to.
