1st madrid lunch (with luggage!)

Hi. We will be arriving in Madrid (Atocha) at 1:15 pm. We will be coming from Sevilla with all our luggage and ready to check into our apartment on Calle del Almendro, 22 in the Latina area. Just found out that our early check in request cannot be accomodated. That said, it is lunch time and our first day in Madrid.
Have been looking at Maribel's guides for a nearby restaurant that has a good menu del dia option and that can accomodate both us and our luggage (at least 2 carry ons). Posada de la Villa, Orixe and Terra Munde fit the bill but will they fit us and our luggage? We can eat and then check in at 3. Thanks for any and all ideas.
