Dear all
My husband and me are planning to visit Croatia & Slovenia in July. We have 17 days to spend and would like your recommendations for places to visit. A detailed intinerary would be much appreciated also. Thank you in advance!!

I am croatian and I noticed here all of you potential visitors talk about the same destinations over and over. I would never reccomend Split, Trogir, Dubrovnik and Hvar during the season - late june, july and august. The best time would be May, June or September - no crowds and still great weather!!There are several other places on Adriatis coast I find much nicer! Mali Losinj on island Lošinj - wonderful scent of trees and sea... also Brijuni islands, slapovi Krke - Krka falls...etc.
Hi
We visited Croatia about 3 yrs. ago in September, which is a good month. Most of our trip was spent in Istria. After driving to Trogir we spent 2 nights there. Realized there were too many tourists, and decided not to go on. We drove back to Istria and stayed in Rovinj again. We had a great time in both Rovinj and Poruc.
ivson is correct, all most odf the visitors discuss are those 3 cities. I am sorry I missed Brijuni Islands however, would go there when I return.
