15 days in London - Aug/Sep 2013

Jump to last reply

I am planning a trip to London for 15 days (well 15 nights) in Aug/Sep 2013. I have been to London before so have a fair idea of where I want to go & what I want to see. My question is: having this much time in London would you recommend staying in London that whole time or having a day trip or a couple of nights out of London.

Last time I was in London it was for 10 days in Nov 2010 so the temperatures will be different. I then spent 8 days driving around South West England so have been to places like Bath, Stonehenge & Oxford.

I am pretty sure I would be able to fill up my time just staying in London but wondered if I was wasting some of that time by staying put.

Oh FYI - I have been to Paris also so it people are going to recommend going to Paris for a day or two, please don't as I was not that impressed with the city.
