13 Days in Italy - Itinerary ok?

Jump to last reply

Two couples spending 13 days in Italy - We cannot change the number of days in each city but want to make sure we get to see as much as possible while still enjoying the atmosphere:
Venice: Arrive at 11 - tour of St. Mark's at 2:45, 6:00 gondola ride (booked there) 8:30 dinner at Tiscali. Next morning stroll around and go to Top of Campanie...Train to Florence at 4:45pm
Florence: Arrive early evening visit Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Next day 9:45 am tickets to Uffizi Gallery and 12:30 at Academi. Visit San Lorenzo Market and Florence Leather Market. Next day - Palazzo Pitti and Santa Croce...stroll. Pick up car next day and drive to Prada Outlet and Perugia then on to Siena where we have rented an apartment.
Sunday - drive to Pisa from Siena
The following two days we have booked Luca for guided tours through Tuscany - looking forward to wine tastings, olives and lots of little towns.
Wednesday we will take the noon bus to Rome - staying at the Inn at the Roman Forum so will visit the Pantheon, Forum and take the Sky Elevator.
Thursday we are meeting our Vatican guide at 9am and after plan to visit the Castel Sant Angelo and stroll through Trostever
Friday (one couple's last day) early visit to Campo de Fiori market then on to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, back to the Coliseum and Villa Borghese.

Hoping this allows time for strolling and soaking atmosphere - restaurant suggestions are also welcome!
