When you go to Rome, and you will go to Rome, NEVER take the 110 Open Bus Tour. We took this tour bus because it was recommended in more than one guide. But apparently they are relaying on their fame and make no effort on keeping it. The buses were dirty, the audio didn't mention most of the places we passed by. In addition to this the stops were very far away from each other, which meant that you couldn't walk from one stop to the other and enjoy the sights in between. It was a completely waste of time.

It's usually not recommended on this board, but I do understand they've dropped some stops recently (due to construction I think) so the there are less stops than normal.
To free up the traffic, since last October, all of the HoHo lines have been forced to reduce the number of stops they make whilst in the central part of the city.

Not all have been quite so fast - or so open - about the changes, and you might well think that some still offer all 13 or 14 they once did ... but don't be misled!
