11 Days in Spain - Photography lover!

Hi

Husband and I are headed to Spain in Oct. Airline and hotels booked and we're ready to book train and museums/attractions. We are active/energetic travelers and love to take pictures. We wanted to get some advice on our itinerary and best locations for pics and for sunrise/sunset shots. Yes I'll be taking my DSLR and gorilla pod and we're experienced/aware travellers. Loved looking through some of your Spain galleries! (Thanks Isabel)

Here's our itinerary. Feedback welcome and appreciated!

Day 0 - overnight flight to Madrid
Day 1 Madrid arrive 10am
Day 2 Marid - Guernica,
Day 3 Day trip to Segovia (early am train) Aqueducts, suckling pig
Day 4 early AM train to Seville
Day 5 Day trip to Cordoba - Mezquita (reason we are not doing on the way down from Madrid is because we heard there is no luggage storage)
Day 6 Seville Flamenco show (do they allow pics during the show?
Day 7 -8 Granada (alhambra - 2-8pm tour) should we do a night tour or is the light better in the day time for photos?
Day 9 Fly to Barcelona (Iberia) flights booked - casa mila, ramblas, boqueria
Day 10 Barcelona (Parc Guell and Sagrada familia)
Day 11 Day trip to Monsterrat
Day 12 fly home 10am

Guernica (Gerinka) ? Really on a day trip or what? It's a long way from Madrid to the center of the Basque country, or are you only referring to Picasso's painting?

Lamb is more common in Segovia, although sucking pig isn't all that bad.

Why not visit Cordoba on the way to Sevilla, or even spend the night? Saves on making a return trip and Cordoba isn't all that bad if you want to spend the night.

ruth... must you ALWAYS make a plug for your apartments in Barcelona? Your lengthy posts with the same Barcelona apartment plugs are very suspicious. There is no advertising here.

I love taking photos on trips and in museums, too! Are you aware that photos of the Picasso painting "Guernica" are forbidden? I find it very frustrating when no photos are allowed. I do not use flash in museums.

Hola

"Seville Flamenco show (do they allow pics during the show)": We saw Los Gallos and pictures were not allowed. But videos were!

"husband read somewhere that there is no place to store our luggage in cordoba": this thread may help - http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...in-station.cfm
