11 Days in Europe
To whomever has any advice:
I am planning a trip to Europe on my way home from the Middle east. I am going to Turkey, then Iran to visit some family. After I have about 11 days (May 8-May 19) in which I can travel on my own in Europe. I do have International friends all over so I have options and I also have family in the Netherlands and France. Because my time in Europe is so short, and I will be by myself. I figured that I go to Amsterdam from May 8-12, then go to France to my cousins home May 13-16, and finally London from May 17-19. London I do not have a place to stay or know anybody there so it might be difficult for me to find someone to meet there as well as the expense of being there, but I heard that London is beautiful and I should try and see it if I can.The one country that is set in stone though is Amsterdam, then I figured just doing the Euro-rail to get to Paris and London. If any of you can give me ideas on where I should go, if I should do those three countries, or if I should change the countries and go to different ones. Any help is appreciated.

I think you have a good plan. It's not difficult to find reasonably priced lodging in London. The Travelodge London Central Aldgate East is inexpensive, in a good location, and is not a horrible hotel.

You really don't have a lot of time for London and it is a huge city with endless things to see and do. Have you been to Amsterdam and Paris before? If not, I would be tempted to visit only those two cities.

I have been to both Amsterdam and Paris, but my time there was short and I did not really travel much. I have cousins in both places so that makes it easier for me if I want I can stay with them. I am for sure starting in Amsterdam though and meeting some of my international friends there for the first weekend. after that I have nothing set in stone yet. This trip be will solely me traveling so where would you say is the best countries for me to see in that time span. I do have friends in Germany, Sweden, Spain etc. I would love to go Spain but my family says thats another time. Maybe i should just focus on France and Netherlands because thats where the majority of the people I know are.
