10 days in Portugal in Mid to late October

Jump to last reply

Travelling with my sister and brother in law from NY, we are in our late 50's to mid 60's and active.(that said we won't be hiking) We are planning a 10 day trip to Portugal and don't want to constantly switch hotels.(2-3 at most) We are open to trains and renting a car. We thought we would spend 3 or so days in Lisbon, day trips to Sintra,Estoril, Cascais. We would like to go to Obidos,Coimbra and Evora...What can we expect for weather in Algarve..Sagres and Lagos at this time of the year. Should we include this in this trip. Have heard mixed things about Porto-- Can someone put together a 10 day itinerary that makes sense, including, adding or excluding some of the areas I mentioned above that is evenly paced..
Thanks again!!
