10 Day Itinerary in Mid to Late Oct-Advice needed....

3 of us are travelling mid to late October from New York area in our 50's 60's and active. Was hoping I could get some opinions on an itinerary we are thinking about.

We are thinking 3 days in Lisbon with day trips to Estoril, Cascais, Sintra and possibly Evora. Then possibly drive down to Lagos and stay 2 nites. Then drive to Porto, and have lunch in Obidos and possibly stops in Tomar, Coimbra and stay 2 nites in Porto. Either we fly home from Porto or head back to Lisbon for our flight
We would take both public transportation, trains and rent a car.

Any suggestions would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.

Also if there are any suggestions for a Pousssada in any of these areas mentioned ...

Thanks again,
Swimiles
