1 Week - Paris, Switzerland, & Lake Como?
I'm trying to plan a 1 week (7 day) trip with a couple friends at the end of July. We were thinking we'd start in Paris for a couple days then fly to Geneva and then rent a car. From Geneva visit Chamonix, Interlaken, & Lucerne. From Lucerne drive down to Lake Como via Brunnen and then fly out of Milan.
Is that too much? Are there any 'must-see' places that we should work in? Or places we should leave out?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, it would be a lot of driving. The train system in Switzerland is really nice, for that part at least -all the way to Lake Como you could take the train. Check prices for three people though, perhaps the car would be similar or even cheaper.
We did something somewhat similar a few years ago but we had five full nights on Lake Como and four nights in Wengen (near Interlaken) with the final night in Geneva. That was very doable but also double the time you are devoting to it with fewer stops, too. We had spent five nights previous to that in Venice/Verona.
Would you consider dropping Paris and stretching the remainder of your current itinerary across the whole week?
