1 Afternoon for Barcelona beach. Which one? Good beach restaurant?

Jump to last reply

During our upcoming trip to Spain, with a busy itinerary, my wife and I have scheduled one afternoon for beach time in Barcelona, followed hopefully by dinner at a good beachside restaurant (or maybe nearby with a sea view). This will be our second time in Barcelona, having spent 5 days here a couple of years ago, during which we did not have a chance to get to a beach. So this time, we definitely want to get down there. But which beach? I know there are several restaurants along the beach, so which one?
We like good seafood, paella is always good, good sangria, fun time, but not the late night party kind. We like to wade out into the water, swim a little, people watch and generally lounge around drinking something adult before dinner.

There seem to be many scalloped beaches along the Barcelona coast. Any recommendations as to which one and or restaurants???Thanks for any info.
