If I remember, correctly, Windstar use to have a lot of special deals on its Mediterranean cruises. So far even the "early booking fares" seem steeper than I recall. Do you think they will announce further discounts on the 2003 European cruises?

Just returned from a Windstar Cruise, our second one. THe boat is definitely getting 'tatty' and looks unmaintained. Since Windstar was bought by HAL, then by Carnival, I predict they will be retiring the ship soon. Best fares we get are 'early booking', plus a discount for being an 'alumni.' Can't do any better than that, I suspect.
David- Look at Windstar and try the WINDSURF ship== it was refurbished 2 years ago and was great for us in the MED---
They are not having as many sales as they have had in the past--
Usually the month of January is cheap to do their ship in the Caribbean...But they are offering FREE air on one of the ships on the MEd--that is a good deal....
You may also want to look into SEA DREAM YACHT CLUB- ( the old Seaborn Goddess-but completely renovated and new ownership)..they are having some specials for the MED with free air....
They are more expensive than Windstar but the same feel as upscale casual and only 110 pass......
