My husband and I want to take a Panama Canal cruise? When is the best time of year? What cruise line do you recommend? Any other suggestions, regarding cabin, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Ruby

We definetly recommend Holland America line. They are more spacious and more service oriented then all others we sailed. But please do not consider NCL, as service on a cargo ship would be better.
We've done the Panama Canal on Celebrity and it was wonderful. Celebrity is a good cruise line.
If you go, I suggest a cabin with a balcony, transiting the canal is fascinating and being able to do it from you balcony would be great.
As to the time of the year, any time is good. Panama is always hot and humid. But I think their rainy season is December and January.
Good luck.
