Category 9 on deck 2 is a larger cabin than Category 10 on Deck 5. However the Category 10 is a little less money.
Hi Julie,
The major difference is a Cat. 9 has a window and a Cat. 10 does not.
I measured both catagories and they are the same size. If the cabins on deck 5 are larger than those on deck 1 and 2 they can not be by very much.

Hi Julie!
Julia
Enjoy your cruise!
The really neat thing about these two stateroom types is a double bathroom arrangement. There are two half baths -one with a shower/tub and sink and the second has the toilet and a sink. It is really convenient! It all depends on your budget for your cruise, but do try to get either a Cat. 9 (window instead of porthole) or a Cat. 10 on Deck 2. Also, try to get a cabin at mid-ship so you won't have to walk too far in either direction to get to the public areas.
Have a great trip!
