Trip Report Viking River Cruise-Terrible Company

I was on the Romantic Danube trip from Budapest to Nuremberg 11/14/2015 to 11/21/2015.
Do not plan a trip with Viking. I have been on 5 cruises in the last 5 years. This company is not concerned at all about our well-being. You are putting your life at risk traveling with VIking. There is little security. Food handling policies are very poor. Numerous passengers got very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. Vikings communication policy is the less the passengers know, the less likely they will complain. On my trip, we were on 3-different boats over a 7-night trip. It was not relaxing. We would be notified the night before that we would have to pack and be on a bus early the next morning to be transferred by bus. If you want to go to this area, please do not book through Viking. A better choice would be to stay in Budapest for 3-nights, Vienna for 3-nights and then book a hotel for last night near the airport! Save lots of money and get a better feel of the cities!
