Am taking a Baltic cruise that departs from Harwich, England.
Has anyone taken the a train from London (Liverpool station?) to Harwich?
I have done some research and see that there are trains, but you've got 5 minutes to get off the train in Manningtree to catch the train to Harwich. is it doable?

thank you
very helpful
cruise is 8/24
It is a two track station. Get off the train and take a dozen steps to the next track. The Harwich stop is right at the cruise ship check in or at least it was for us.
We took the train last May for our Baltic cruise. We did miss the train at Manningtree because of some problem with our train. We had to wait 50 minutes or so for the next train. For the train from London to Harwich you have to go down some steps, under the tracks and back up steps to the the other side of the tracks. You also will need to make sure that there won't be works on the tracks the day you go from London to Harwich or when you get back. We reserved a car service for the trip back to London because there was no train the day our cruise got back, only buses.
Julie
got my cruise date wrong
we sail on the 19th
I assume you are on the Brilliance of the Seas. If you look at the website I gave you the train for that ship leaves Liverpool station and 12:28 and arrives in Harwich at 1:38.
Have a great cruise!
We took this same cruise several years ago,
It worth your money to take the RCCL transfer from airport to port, or alternatively you can take a direct train from Frenchurch station, a short walk from Towel of London underground station.
Harwich train station is right at the pier.
Good luck
