Teen dress code on HAL's Osterdam

Jump to last reply

We just booked an Alaskan cruise on this ship. My teenage son does not like dressing up, so I don't see him attending the formal dinners (though he could surprise me). I'm a little confused - it says there are lots of other options for less formal eating (which I would assume means less formal dress), but then I read that jeans are not OK in any public area in the evening.

Does that mean if he and my daughter head to the teen area or eat pizza on the Lido deck that they can't wear jeans?

Thanks,
Elise
