Suggestion for accommodation/tour in Anchorage after 7 day Princess Cruise.
We arrive early morning and fly out the next day at 2pm in July. We need to arrange travel from cruise to hotel and a tour to see as much as we can. Can we have recommendations please

You really don't have time to do much other than walk around town and that's about it. What do you like to see?
Also, a little more information maybe helpful, which port and which airport. Either way, you only have half day plus the morning which limits where you can go.

We spent an overnight in Anchorage on our Alaskan cruise at the Hilton. Don't know how pricey it is because we had a package deal. The hotel is lovely tho.
You would have all of the day you arrive to sightsee and perhaps a few hours in the morning. You could do the trolley tour on the morning you depart, only about 55 min. tour.

We did a trolley tour of the town and got an overview.

There was a flea market right across the street from the hotel (it was a Sunday) so we browsed there also. Lots of stores to browse as well.

You might consider a flightseeing tour. We did one in Ketchikan and absolutely loved it, scenery was so spectacular from the air. Check this out. Our trip was about 1.5 hr.
Here's another flightseeing website:

Actually, prices are reasonable for 2 or more of you.

Here's some more good info from Cruise Critic website. If I remember correctly, we were docked a short ride from the Hilton so don't think you would have a problem finding a taxi to take you to hotel. See if cruise line is offering and busses to hotels.
Hope this gives you some ideas.

There are a number of bus options to get from Whittier to Anchorage, but it will take 1.5-2 hours (not a taxi ride distance). Princess should have some recommendations; here is one, but I'm not sure the schedule will work for you: http://alaskacruisetransfer.com/shut...ttle-transfer/
Some will offer a full day tour rather than a direct ride to Anchorage, and that might be a good option for you.
