December is summertime in South America, so think California summer; a windbreaker is a must, though... Visit weatherunderground.com or eveb cnn.com for weather patterns/trends.
Cruisecritic belongs to Expedia/Travelocity/TripAdvisor (same company owns all of these online providers), but they do a good job at remaining somewhat detached of the postings; the site is bombarded with advertising pop-ups that can be easily ignored.
Thanks Viajero2. Been doing that for the last hour and it is really informative.
You didn't post your itinerary. As Viajero2 said it is summer in SA, but the cruise we're taking in January goes around the horn, so we will have both warm and cold weather. We'll be packing heavy coats and sturdy warm shoes, along with cottons/linens and sandals.
