What a gorgeous ship! I saw it arriving this morning in NY Harbor, never saw a Silversea ship before. I looked up the itinerary and they are leaving for 11 nights, going up to Canada.
Has anyone taken this cruise? Opinions of the ship/cruiseline?

I have several friends and relatives who have cruised with the Silversea line. They love it! It is their favorite. My friends go on a 6 week cruise every years and this is the best in the business according to them. Go to the Silverseas website for more information. It is luxury to the max with an intimate feel. Happy cruising.
Thanks for your reply.
I ordered & received a catalog & am in the process of booking for next December '06, Eastern Caribbean Barbados-FL.
Oooooh, I'm "homesick!" I posted a report on our trans-atlantic crossing aboard the Whisper in September.
SPECtacular! A marvelous journey that exceeded every expectation.
They're offering a 50% discount on some sailings!
I'm leaving in a week for Silver Shadow, Cairo to Singapore, 28 days. I wouldn't think of doing a long cruise on any other line. We've tried Radisson a couple of times and I don't think we'll go back. Seabourn lacks real balcony and Crystal is too big and set dinner time. So for me, Silversea is the only line.
We loved our transAtlantic voyage so much, we immediately signed up for Alaska - at 40% off. This was our very first cruise experience (never all that interested in a 'cruise,' but avid for a 'crossing'), so I was surprised to learn that on some lines, you are assigned to a tableful of companions for the duration of the voyage. Real possibilities for a 'fresh hell' there it sure seemed.
Bon voyage Simon - have a wonderful time!
