RSS Voyager Atlantic Crossing

Has anyone taken the RSS Voyager on its crossing to Funchal? We're sailing on April 23rd and I'd like to know what the weather is like in the South Atlantic at that time. We were going to take the Queen Mary 2 to Southampton, but we think it will be too cold at that time of year.
