RMS Queen Mary 2 ship model made of LEGO blocks in Hamburg

Jump to last reply

Guys, this is absolutely crazy - almost half a million lego blocks (480.000 to be exact), half a year building time (1200 working hours), length 7 meters and weight of ONE BIG A$$ TON!!!!

I never knew this, but there's this HUGE lego model of the Cunard cruise ship RMS Queen Mary 2 in a museum in Hamburg. Two German lego pros have built it right inside the building. You have to see it - there's a whole chapter dedicated to this.

I have to say this is one of the best ever articles about Cunard Queen Mary 2 - it has information on everything - from the ship's technical details to a ton of curious facts - like the one that QM2 makes a 60,000 USD profit - per hour!!!! :) Mickey Arison surely knows how and where to invest!

There's also a video about the construction process of the QM2 model and many many photos and other videos - I really like it a lot!
