River Cruising-Eastern Europe

Jump to last reply

Taking a Vantage River Cruise in Eastern Europe in October. 5 countries, 5 different currencies. I know I can use a credit card, but what about getting small denomination bills for tips, small purchases, etc? ATM's usually give large denomination bills and I can't imagine 170 people all getting off the boat and running for the nearest ATM machine!!! Any ideas? I suppose I could convert money at the US airport before we take off? I just don't feel comfortable not having some local currency in my pocket!!!!
