Since my message wasn't noticed under an April 2006 report, thought I'd post again.
We are on the QM2 June 9 - July 3, 2006. Was really excited until I read things about crowded buffets, slow service in the dining room, etc. Can anyone else give their experience? Also looking for ways to avoid the negative and maximise the positive.
In addition, we've never been to many of the ports on the list and are looking for others' experience of great excursions or excursions to avoid.
Also wanted to find out about taking wine on board. Some have reported you are allowed to take a bottle or two, others say alcohol policy is very strict and you can't take anything.
Lastly, would love to make contact with others that will be on this sailing.
