Hi all,
We're in the midst of deciding what cabin to choose for January. I've been 'advised' that a balcony is recommended to view the volcano, lava etc. As it seems to be a port intensive cruise just wondering whether paying the extra money is worth it.
Many thanks
Pride of America 7 night Hawaii- Is a balcony worth it to view the volcano?

Don't do it for the lava flow, it is not worth it for that by itself. Do do it for all of the ports you will be in. It is nice to sit on your own balcony to view the beautiful sights.
I agree with marezdot. A balcony is wonderful to get away from the crowd. However, I did not have any problem watching the lava flow from the top deck. I would have to say it might even better because you would have a 360 degree view. Have fun on your cruise!
