Postcard from World Vacations offering free cruise

I received a postcard in the mail stating I was selected to receive a free 5 day cruise of my choice. It also states it is not a timeshare or land sale offer. The reason it states I am selected is a grand opening in my area. I am afraid to call and get more details if it is a scam for fear of opening up a can of worms by responding. Meaning more junk mail and telemarketing calls.

Has anyone gotten this offer or know anything about it?

Thanks.

I think I just researched my own answer. I found this website -

I am posting it here for others to read.

Good think you did not learn the hard way. If its too good to be true then its not.

Would love to have the recipe!

My sister-in-law just made some for me for my birthday, it is delicious. With lemons being sooo expensive I haven't made it for a couple of years. It's about time though!

Thanks.

I used the zest of about 9 lemons, let it soak in 750 cc of Smirnoff 80 proof vodka for around 12 days. Strain the zest from the alcohol. Then boil around 800 cc water with about 200 gm. sugar until dissolved, then slowly added the strained alcohol mixture. Once all of it was in the sugar H2O mixture just let it simmer for maybe 5 mins. and remove from the heat. Then let it cool and put in the frig or freezer. Cheers.

You're welcome. For a bit moe of a kick try everclear instead of vodka. Then look out. Larry

My favorite is the modified proverb:

If life hands you a lemon... make limoncello!!
