Please help me choose an Alaskan cruise!

My husband and I are looking at going on an Alaskan cruise in July of 2011 with some of our friends. We are all in our late 20's. We are looking for a cruise that caters to people our age. We like to party, but would also like other activities to do on the cruise. It definitely does not need to be the fanciest cruise. However, we would like to see the best spots in Alaska. From reading some reviews, I think Carnival or Royal Caribbean cruise lines would be good for our group. Im just not sure if their itinerary is the best. Here are the two cruises Im looking at right now.

Royal Caribbean 7 night Glacier Southbound- Seward, Alaska - Hubbard Glacier, Alaska - Juneau, Alaska - Skagway, Alaska - Icy Strait, Alaska - Ketchikan, Alaska - Inside Passage - Vancouver, British Columbia

Carnival 7 night cruise from Seattle- Seattle, Washington - At Sea - Tracy Arm, Alaska - Skagway, Alaska - Juneau, Alaska - Ketchikan, Alaska - Victoria, British Columbia - Seattle, Washington

Of these two which one is better? We like the Seattle one because its cheaper to fly to Seattle. We like the royal caribbean because you see Hubbard Glacier. My only concern is it doesnt go to Glacier Bay. Is Glacier Bay a must? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
