On our last Princess cruise we enjoyed the Steak House, well worth the extra$$$.
What "additional fee" restaurants are on the Grand? Do you know where I could find menues? Are they "good"?

My husband and I really enjoyed the Southwestern alternative restaurant (Painted Desert) on the Grand. I recall having a pork dish that was fantastic. We ate there for lunch once and enjoyed it so much we went back for a dinner. We did not try the other alternative, the Italien restaurant but it got raves from many passengers we spoke to. The menu is heavy on seafood and, while we enjoy some fish, we don't like shellfish, calamari etc ... so it didn't seem like a good option for us. If you enjoy italien seafood from what I have heard you will like this restaurant and they certainly seem to give you your money's worth with many different courses.
I have menus copies for the southwestern and Italian 'pay' restaurants from the Star Princess. I'm assuming the menus are all the same on the grand class ships. I can scan and email it to you if you'd like. We only tried the southwestern restaurant for lunch which we thought was OK. In addition to dinner, the Italian restaurant also serves a brunch which sounds interesting and I've heard raves about.
we are going to the grand to the baltic heritgage and would be happy to receive any information you have including the menus. You can email them to me at: Irisbobi@hotmail.com Thanks
