We were on the Princess(Crown) almost 2 years ago. The ship did not go all the way theu the Canal, went to Gatun Lake and turned around.
They had several tours, getting off the ship and touring the Canal mechanics, even going to a primitive tribe on an island in the lake.
Nothing, at that time, was a tour you could reserve ahead of time. Maybe that has changed.
The ships that went all the way to the Pacific were not offered any tours of this kind.
