Pretty casual older ship needing refit going in drydock in Nov
odds are u will be fine with any jacket not too formal...
Hi Mike, we were on the Oriana in Oct/Nov last year, San Fransisco to Sydney. My hubby just had suit that he wore with a tie, certainly not a dinner suit. You will need to wear your jacket for any formal dinners you wish to attend with a tie but jacket and open neck shirt for casual nights in the main dinning room.
There are other eating areas you can choose which are casual but neat dress still required. No shorts or singlet tops. We had some super meals in the buffet area - make sure you attend the Indian night if you're into it. It was pretty darn good.
Hope you have a great time.
Thank you very much for your tips Maudie we love indian food, we are looking forward to it.Mike
