Nancy,
I have never been on a cruise, but I have been to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. You should definitely visit Dunns River Falls. It's a lot of climbing, but you can walk along the side if it's too much for you. Try looking it up on the internet. It's really beautiful!

I sailed on the Sea Princess last March (Western) and just loved Dunn River Falls - and it was lots of fun climbing up -- just remember to bring along those water shoes. We had booked the excursion that also took us to a private island for about 1 1/2hrs - well worth every cent. I was in Cozumel last month again and always enjoy the Catamaran and Snorkeling excursion - they also take you to a private beach for about 1hr. Here's to gentle breezes and smooth sailing...

I did a tour with my friends on the Peat Taylor Tour - Excellent and you see much more at 1/2 the price of the ships tours. If you do a search on this board, you will find contact info.

Cozumel has good shopping especially for silver and mexican vanilla. Big bottles of vanilla (to cook with) run from $2-$6 - 8oz bottle cost me $2!!! I have used it to cook cakes with - good stuff!! Los Cinco Soles is a wonderful shop.

I enjoyed Chacanaab (sp) park - It is clean and cheap cab ride, has good snorkeling, a dolphin encounter and a sea lion show.
