We're first time cruisers, long-time travelers. Don't like children, love good food and service. Has anyone taken this cruise and/or itinerary? Please give us your thoughts. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi L,

Also take your question to www.cruisecritic.com.
We've taken two Oceania crusies: Venice to Athens, Barcelona to Lisbon. We loved the food and the service; there were no children on either sailing.
We are also first time cruisers and have booked an Oceania cruise from Barcelona to Istanbul. We booked this cruise line based on the smaller size of ship, open seating, no formal nights and the port itinerary.
Do check out cruise critic and you will see many glowing reports about the food and service. Can't imagine there would be any children on these ships.
Larry, we took this cruise in Nov 08 except the opposite way and it was fabulous.
No children. The food was great and do not miss eating in the steak house - the best!
We like the small ship, fewer passengers and the itinerary was wonderful since we were able to see so many places.
