we are contemplating a cruise in Late Sept/early Oct. we will be a family of 11, including my parents(age 60), me and my siblings (late 20's-early 30's) and three babies, twins age six months and one who will be 3-4 months, in case that helps.
There are several that leave from Boston and hit various ports in RI, ME, Nova Scotia and Canada.
we like the ones that hit Quebec, which seem to be 11 day cruises, which is fine. but are also open to the 7 day ones. we'd drive to Boston from the NY area.
has anyone done ANY cruises from Boston, heading north? i am looking for firsthand experiences with itineraries, cruise lines, etc.
thanks!!!
New England Cruises to Canada, any experiences?

Did the NE cruise to Canada from Boston two years ago. I note that NCL Dream is doing it from Boston for I think for 10 days with a great itinerary. Starts at Boston, cruises gulf of Maine, Syney, Nova Scotia, Corner Brook, cruise gulf of St.Lawrence, Quebec City, cruise Saguenay River, St. Lawrence, Halfiax and Bar Harbor and then back to Boston. The cruise we took stopped at Halifax and we fell in love with the city and what can I saw about beautiful Bar Harbor, it;s gorgeous. We are seriously thinking of taking this trip again, previously it was on the Premier Seabreeze. At a travel show in Bostoh I told a rep of NCL we would never, never cruise out of Miami again and forget the pre-cruise. She mentioned that people really liked cruising out of Boston, the longshoremen are friendly and cooperative compared to our experiences in Miami.. For more info please write..
