Need help with independent shore excursions

Jump to last reply

Hi, I will be cruising solo this time and need some help in deciding on shore excursions. I will be cruising on the Ryndam, departing 8 September, with ports of call Messina, Argostili, Brindisi, Kotor, Rome, Livorno and Marceilles, starting and ending in Barcelona. I have been to a few of these ports before and need advise on alternative excursions.
Messina: I have done the Mount Edna excursion before - is Messina worth doing or should I go to Toarmina;
Argostili: not been there before- needs help on this one;
Brindisi: not been there before- needs help on this one;
Kotor: it seems that this one is easy doable independatly?
Rome: need an alternative to Rome. I am thinking of maybe Viterbo, Bracciano, Santa Marinelle. I am not interested in Etruscan tombs. Any suggestions would be welcome
Livorno: I am considering Lecca. Suggestions on how to get there?
Marceilles: Decided on doing Aix-en Provence by train
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thaks
