Depending on who you are traveling with, kids, etc.. How picky you are about the food and service. I might or might not recommend them. We just got back from a 7 day cruise to the bahamas and V.I. with them. The ship was beautiful, immaculate, we were with a large group with kids. They did not have very much for the kids. The service at the restaurant was horrible, but our service was o.k.

Go to cruisecritic.com and read the reviews for a sampling of opinions.
I cruised the Sinfonia in the Med and found the food excellent (far better than any of the "premium" lines in NA, the ship small and lovely and the Italian ambiance very nice.
I disliked the attitude of the front desk staff and tha many obnuxious children running around, but then I see that on most all lines these days.
All in all, if you are fan of the standard cruise experience (RCI, Carnival, NCL) I doubt you will like them. I am not and I found MSC a refreshing option.
