ms Patriot ?

We're sailing ms Patriot on Sat. June 30 and very excited --but confused? We (noe after booking) read allot that this ship is not very good? :(
Any feed back or advice will be great? Any ideas about the cost of beverages onboard? Shore excursions? (particularly looking at sport fishing)? I look forward to any response!
