Luggage in 4 berth cabin on Sapphire Princess

This may seem a strange question...with our first ever cruise fast approaching we're getting down to the nitty-gritty now. Is there a lot of storage room for luggage in the four-berth cabins? Our teenagers have huge suitcases and with our two also my husband reckons they won't fit. Many thanks!

You can put a few suitcases under the bed. There is also a long closet and I usually put suitcases at the bottom of that. If you do not have enough room - your room steward can store your suitcase for you during the trip.

We have done five European cruises -- all on different cruise lines --- with two sons always in a 4 berth. With one exception the four berth room was no bigger than a two berth. The four berth room is simply a two berth room with two pull down beds. Not a lot of room and not a lot of room to store luggage so pack carefully. Nor a lot of room for clothes. Don't know your defination of huge but huge suitcases are not a good idea for anyone.

We travel with one carryon size suitcase for each person plus one extra carryon size rolling bag for the four of us. Probably could not do it if we had two daughters.

Many thanks - will reconsider our packing. We have a 16yr boy & 14yr girl - she is planning to take a lot!

You need to work on reducing your luggage. But it is a learning curve. On our first cruise 15 years ago, Marcia and I took more luggage and clothes on that trip than the four of us took on our last cruise this summer. You do not need as much as you think you might.
Travel well, Frank
