Leaving out of New York or Boston in July

My friend and I were thinking about taking a 5-7 day cruise this summer in July, and yes we know that it can be pretty expensive during that month. We were wondering if anybody had any knowledge of crusies leaving out of New York or Boston during that tmie for under 700 dollars.

You're asking for something that's hard to sell. I short trip around the Eastern Sea Board.

Susie, I have been researching cruises to Bermuda and I am finding they tend to be more expensive than others because the ships are smaller and they don't allow as many into the Bermuda port. I think the cheapest I've seen that price is the dot.coms during September, hurricane season, which I believe has been about $799.

Check the prices for the NCL Majesty to Boston..you might find a deal at the last minute to Bermuda from Boston. We met somebody a few years ago who won the trip for $200.00 and he was having a ball. Actually Vacation Outlet was advertising about $700.00, but I don't know the time frame. It is true that the ships are limited in capacity by the Government of Bermuda, but it's such a wonderful destination, we've taken the trip nine times.
Hi Susie,

Bermuda in July is much more than your budget will allow. The five night sailings out of NYC to Canada on the Triumph are selling for $811 in July. Some travel agents will give small discounts since there is not much to be made. The four night about $100 less. Expensive, but you will have a great time.

Paul
The gentleman won the $200.00 cruise on an internet auction either that wek or the week before. We have met several long time cruisers (one elderly cruisers from Georgia) at one time who also bought the cruise at auction. Just as a note Paul we were sitting having breakfast with this gentleman and there were travel agents at our table who were at a Seminar at Sea and this one particular lady from Texas was quite upset with the talk of buying over the internet as she was not on the internet and didn't think her clients were either. She was quite indignant...lol
