Is there a place to get Turkish visa at Istanbul cruise port?

We are arriving by cruise ship in Istanbul. We will get off the ship and fly to Cappadocia for overnight to sightsee the area and then return to the ship the next day to continue our cruise. I understand that if we were staying on the ship, no visa is needed as a US citizen. However, since we will be staying off ship for 1 night we need to get a visa.

Is there a place at the Istanbul cruise ship port that we can buy the visa before going to the airport? If not, can we buy the visa before departing at the airport, or do we just need one to get back from Cappadocia?
