I will be buying a cruise only ticket to Bermuda and need to know how to get to the docks? Is there a better way than taxi? I would think that a taxi would cost a lot!! I am thinking of going a day early so we can see a little of New York. Any sugestions for a hotel? Do any of the hotels have shuttles from La Guardia?
Thanks for your help.

there is a bus from LGA to the Port Authority (42nd St. & 9th Ave), but that means lugging all your stuff. the taxis have fixed rates from airports. I believe its around $35 (plus any tolls and tips) some hotels are Novotel 226 W. 52nd (will not take long to get to cruise terminal from this part of town). Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza 1605 Broadway (48th St). book early, the hotels around here are not cheap. when are you going? I'll be happy to send you the travel page w/NY info from the NY Times.
