Booked a cruise, leaving Sunday, going to these ports. (Could not pass up $299, 7 days, deck 9!)We have never been to either port. Can anyone reccomend a beach with good walk-in snorkling? Or is there something we should not miss/do? We are not shoppers, we're happy with a good beach with good snorkling.

Can't tell you about Casa de Campo, but we went to Grand Turk last July. The ship docks right off a pretty beach, and next to Margaritaville (which gets a lot of business). We are avid divers, so we booked a fantastic 2 tank dive which was not very far from the ship. Diving was absolutely incredible, and the famous "wall" is easily reached from the shore. This is a new cruise destination and there really isn't a whole lot of infrastructure there yet. The island itself is not very big.
We went to Casa de Campo. At that time several years ago they offered a show in the p.m. at an outside theater off the ship. I can't remember the name but it was great!! Very good, and colorful costumes. I would recommend this if it is still offered.
Grand Turk is a very pristine island. I would suggest you don't get off the ship. The area with Margaritaville is just a commercial, not very good marketplace.
We felt ripped off on a tour we took, guide kept saying "as we traverse the island" & there was simply nothing nice to see with the exception of the lighthouse.
