I was wondering if anyone has been on the Grand Princess this summer traveling from Istanbul to Barcelona or vice versa. What was it like and did you take any of the ship's land tours? Thanks.

Hi Elsa,
I sailed the Grand Princess last summer in Europe. The ship is absolutely stunning. It will take you a week to discover all the nooks and crannys. I never did find the miniature golf course. I have been on 49 cruises and am a travel agent. I have never sailed a ship that compares with the Grand's beauty.
The shore tours are too varied to discuss. When I sell my customers I give them a copy of the video that explains all the tours in detail. You can purchase the video from Princess.
Princess also has a very large brochure that has a huge breakdown of each public room and pool area. Your travel agent should have one available.
Any questions that require short answers, feel free to write me.
