Going!

Well, after cancelling our carefully chosen anniversary cruise because of DH needing surgery, we are doing one just for rest and relaxing. Not a first choice by any means, I really wanted to go up to NJ and take a Celebrity Summit that spends three days in Bermuda, but DH just wanted to get on a ship without any fuss. I figure after his ordeal, he deserves something fun and easy, so we are going on Carnival Pride from Baltimore. It is a short taxi ride from our house to the ship. We have never done that before. It will be a luxury not to have to travel ahead of time. Unfortunately, the stops are very short, only a few hours. Kind of disappointing, but at least we will be on the water in nice weather - and I won't be cooking or cleaning! Plan to paint and draw a lot.

Anybody else cruising?

Have fun on your cruise, Sass!

We recently returned from the Celebrity Eclipse (14 day Caribbean). Next cruise is on the Celebrity Millie from Singapore to Hong Kong next February.

We took the Celebrity Renaissance on a 7-day eastern Caribbean cruise mid-March, just three ports, perfect as I love the sea days. Weather was fantastic, everyone in good spirits and the service and food very nice.

We're on Celebrity Eclipse in October, 14-day sail from Southampton, UK to Miami.

Hope you have a great and relaxing time and so glad your husband is recuperating.

Sassafrass when are you going? The Bermuda port is easy on and off. Also will the Pride go to other ports? I am going on a short cruise with friends who have never been on a ship in June. I will write about it when I come back.

Thanks all, so happy some of you are off for some fun too. Love some of the more exotic cruises you are taking and the TA with lovely sea days.

I did want to go to Bermuda, but we are just going to the Bahamas. Off hand, I forget for sure where. Nassau, I think, Freeport and Carnival's private Island. Doesn't matter too much. DH is so happy to go, and we both need some together to relax.

tch912, have you booked already? Which ship and itinerary? Hope your friends enjoy it.

Sassafrass I am going on the Bahama Celebration cruise out of West Palm Beach. It's a two night cruise to Freeport and back. It's an old refurbish Carnival ship. I always say any cruise is a good thing. I'm glad to hear your husband is better and ready to cruise again .
